This'll be quick. I just want to pass along info about a great magazine: EQ
It comes out once every other month, I think...and their online presence is most of what the magazine is: EQ Mag.
EQ is self-described as "... the definitive
source for audio and home recording studio equipment and software."
I'd
have to agree. The articles are helpful, and well-written by professionals and
artists who struggle with some of the same issues we have as voice-actors. I'd
have to say the staff orients the content to mostly musicians, singers, and
production engineers. So you could see how many of the same issues would apply
to voice-overs.
The advertisements are about as valuable as the
articles. Lots of great ideas and links.
Here's the cool thing, though.
As I found out on the VO-BB, working voice-actors can apply for a free
